As different to a built strata, Survey Strata subdivisions do not include buildings. A survey strata land parcel is defined by distances and angles, as similar to a freehold “green title” lot. The approval process is similar to that of a “green title” and typically commences with a feature and contour survey followed by planning approval through the Western Australian Planning Commission. The general time frame for a 2 lot survey-strata subdivision is between 6 to 9 months.
